My hermansa avia tenido otro ataque
]que la avia dejado en Coma. My corazon sintio caer de mi boca..

A Tribute to Julie for the Organ Celebration of 2011

When we are in your 20’s and 30’s we live our lives thinking there will always be a tomorrow. Never thinking that tomorrow will never come at that age. We don't think what happens when your time is done here on earth? For my sister Julie Ann Woodby on March 5 2008 it was her last day here on this earth. My sister Julie was a woman who loved and lived like there wasn’t going to be a tomorrow .Julie was a loving wife to Stephen Woodby and mother of two beautiful little girls Lillian Hope Woodby and Madison Faith Woodby. Julie live her life honoring her Father and being that crazy sister that everyone wished they had. Julie was funny she liked to joke around but had a sweet sensitive side to her that no one could resist. Julie had a big heart and a love for anyone who she came into contact with. That was the main reason why our family chose to donate her organs. You know I never imagined in life that our family would have to make that decision for my sister, but knowing my sister and her amazing love I know it was the right thing to do. Today in this tribute to my sister, her love and her life I leave you with one of my sayings.
In our sorrows someone else’s prayers are being answered.
I am grateful to have had 29 wonderful years with my sister and am proud that God gave me the opportunity to be her older sister. Now she rests in HIS arms until we meet again.

The article talks about finding from an increased number of cases reported in 1976 after patients taking the flu shot for the swine flu epidemic of 1976.

Please feel free to read up on this particular subject it may interest you.

Isaiah 54:7-10

7 “For a brief moment I abandoned you,
but with deep compassion I will bring you back.
8 In a surge of anger
I hid my face from you for a moment,
but with everlasting kindness
I will have compassion on you,”
says the LORD your Redeemer.

9 “To me this is like the days of Noah,
when I swore that the waters of Noah would never again cover the earth.
So now I have sworn not to be angry with you,
never to rebuke you again.
10 Though the mountains be shaken
and the hills be removed,
yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken
nor my covenant of peace be removed,”
says the LORD, who has compassion on you.

Drug Recalls & Warnings

Hello Readers,

It has been at least a couple of days since I have posted information. Please forgive me for the delay. I was taking a few days to regather myself. I am back a fully energized and ready to work for you. I sat in church this morning listening to one of the Pastors talk on Elijah and Elisha. He was wrapping up a Multi week lesson about the Hall of Faith. We were studing the book of Hebrews chapter 11. During the lesson I found myself asking the question How strong is my faith? Do I have faith??? Would I do whatever it takes to accomplish what God is asking me to do??? Then Pastor said a couple of things that hit home for me. The first was Faith relies on unseen realities and the second is to Trust that God is at work in MY life.

You are probably thinking what in the world does this have to do with this blog. Well sometimes I put info on this site not knowing who is reading or if it is even helping anyone out there. I created this blog cause it is what I feel God is directing me to do. Then there was a scripture that Pastor gave and really comforted me. I hope and pray that it may also comfort those who are reading this blog.

16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
2 Corinthians 4: 16-18

Now that is said and done. I was doing some more research and found a link to a site that gives updated information on Drug Recalls. Please feel free to read and see if a drug you may be on or someone you know is on is being recalled..

Antiperspirants – Aluminum & Alzheimer’s Disease

Hello Reader

Today at work I was talking to a friend about this blog. He suggested I touch on the topic of Antiperspirants/Deorderants with Aluminum in them..In doing my research today I am come across some interesting articles about how the armpit area is like a gateway for the aluminum to travel directly into our blood stream. The weird thing is that Antipersprants that contain Aluminum may be linked to Alzheimer. For more information on that topic please read the below link.

    Gardasil

    Good Day Readers,

After a doctors appointment for my daughters regular vaccines. I sat down and had a chat with the doctor about the Gardasil shot. Most doctors would like for you to immunize your girls with this new injection. It supposedly will protect against HPV ( human papillomavirus). So first let me tell you alittle about this drug. This injection only helps protect against 4 types of HPV's. It protects against types 6, 11, 16 and 18.

  • HPV Types 6 and 11 cause about 90%
of genital warts cases in females and males.

  • HPV Types 16 and 18 cause about 75% of cervical cancer cases in females.

  • HPV Types 16 and 18 also cause about 70% of vaginal cancer cases and up to 50% of vulvar cancer cases in females.

  • Gardasil is suggested to be given to children before they have encountered sexually activity, however if on is already sexually active you can still get immunized..
Gardasil is not only a vaccine for females it is also for males too. Doctors and the CDC recommend giving this vaccine anywhere from age 9-26 year old females/males. Just below I included an exert from the drug manufacturer's website.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends routine vaccination with GARDASIL for girls ages 11 to 12, and for young women ages 13 through 26 who have not already been vaccinated. The CDC states that GARDASIL can be given to boys and young men ages 9 through 26, if you and the doctor decide it’s right for your son. (I underlined that last line cause it is ultimately up to the parent to make that decision)

The way they administer the drug via injection. GARDASIL is given in 3 doses over 6 months.

So when the doctor and I talked about it. She proceeded to tell me it is a good shot, but there are also over 100 different types of HPV's out there that they know of..
This coming from my daughter's Doctor. You take what you want from that comment. What i would say is here is some info for you on this subject and you chat with your child's Doctor. Make up your mind based on the facts.. That is exactly what I did.

As Always I Love You All

    Nuvigil-Armodafinil(ar moe daf' i nil)

    Hello Blog Reader,
It has been a bit since I have put something new on the blog. That is till tonight. I was driving into work this morning and on the radio there was an advertisement for a drug. The name of the drug was Nuvigil. Of course like any new drugs out there it explains the benefits of the drug first repetitively and slowly. Then after the 1-2 things it may list as to what it will help you with it is followed by a lengthy list of what it could/ or may mess up in your body. This drug was geared to those of us who work crazy shift hours or those of us who's jobs require crazy hours of mandatory overtime. It promises to create wakefulness in those of us who may be or get sleepy during the midday hours. This drugs is also used to treat narcolepsy. After listening to the benefits which aren't many. It proceeded with a crazy long list of side effects. I am sorry but I am one who gets sleepy during the middle of my work day and to tell you the truth I read the various side effects and I personally don't think the risk out weights the benefits on this one.. Hello lets go ahead and feel sicker than you have ever felt in your life just for the sake of staying awake at work..
Ummmm I would rather change my diet and be healthy first Thank you.. (However to each his own) Now I am not saying do not take the Meds. What I am saying is read for yourself and may your own choice..Plus the fact that this drug messes with the chemicals in the brain is sort of scary anyways.

Nuvigil-Armodafinil is a type of drug to create wakefulness. This drug is used to treat excessive sleepiness caused by narcolepsy (a condition that causes excessive daytime sleepiness) or shift work sleep disorder (sleepiness during scheduled waking hours and difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep during scheduled sleeping hours in people who work at night or on rotating shifts). Armodafinil is also used along with breathing devices or other treatments to prevent excessive sleepiness caused by obstructive sleep apnea/hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS; a sleep disorder in which the patient briefly stops breathing or breathes shallowly many times during sleep and therefore does not get enough restful sleep). Nuvigil is at type of drug considered to be in a class of medication called wakefulness-promoting agent. It works by changing certain amounts of chemicals in the brain that causes wakefulness and sleep.

    WTH?????? Please read this!!!!

Hello to my fellow blog readers,

Over the past couple of weeks i have been tuned into some news reports that are being retelevised about how the

US may ban the sale of alcoholic drinks with caffeine kick.

Ok so I find something so totally wrong with this picture..How is it that we as a country will attempt to ban an alcoholic energy drink but we wont even take the time out to do the same with Prescription drugs. (that are doing just as much harm if not more)You know something somewhere is really warped.. Oh wait a minute I am sure the revenue generated by the perscription drug feild is greater than that of the so called Alcoholic drinks with caffeine. I am not against this ban but it does begs one to wonder why they (FDA) don't care about everything/everyone equally..
( Probably  because we as a people are just a number and when it comes to taking money out of someones pocket no one wants to listen)

So for your reading pleasure about this ban I will include the link below.

If you scroll down you will read how this drug was discontinued in the United States.  However there are other area's of the world such as in Bangladesh who still use this particular method of birth control. According to one study 6.2 out of 100 rural women interviewed in one region in Bangladesh use the device. Yet there was an overwhelming number of lawsuits against this drug here in the US. I understand that we no longer are able to get this particular form of birth control but what about all those out there who arent here in the US and are dying or suffering so very badly. What about them?? See this information that is in the above website is exactly what I am talking about. When I say we as women need to educate ourselves before we become one of those statistics in some lawsuit.

    God Bless You!!!

    Blog update as of 6/5/2011

    Hello All,
After a month of the blog being availble to the public we have reached over 600 people and are in 9 countries or so. I am currently working on some ways to get program out into the hospital system to have classes offered.

Today after service at church I went up to ask for some prayer for my project and give a praise report. This is being done today not by me but by God. I take no credit for what is currently being accomplished nor he outcome that will be. I am just priviledged to go along for the ride.. I have currently started to get requests for drugs that are not birth control related. So over the next couple of weeks you will be seeing other drugs that you or someone you know maybe taking... As more developes with my project and the cause I will give updates along the way.

Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

Lybrel- Oh my goodness.. This is a must read

The days of having a period are gone I guess. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration on May 22, 2007 approved a drug called Lybrel that eliminates a women monthly. However after reviewing the large list of side effects I am a bit concerned. I haven't had a chance to research the information in regards to rate of death while on this particular pill. That is next on my agenda. So keep plugged into the blog over the next few weeks while I compile the information.

What I would suggest is to veiw the side effects for yourself and tell me what you think? Is continuing on these types of drugs really worth the risk of loosing your life? Would you be willing to trade in your montly if you knew your quality of life would be affected or even worse you could possible loose your life??

Remember women your montly is a natural process of your body cleaning itself in a sense. When you mess with that you are asking for all kind of problems. Take that into consideration.

God Bless You and Love You!!!
